Inspiring our children and the makers of tomorrow through hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) experiences
The purpose of the club is to promote STEM subjects and inspire the next generation. It will provide opportunities for children in our community to gain hands-on experience in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths subjects.
The KILN is being configured with a Makerspace and a number of workshops for woodwork, metalwork, ceramics, electronics, computers and IT, modelling. It also has open spaces for running STEM sessions, presentations and events. Schools, groups, parents and children will be able to use KILN spaces for STEM projects and activities.
STEM activities and our Makerspace is likely to be of interest to anyone who would like to share ideas, develop new things and play with techy things.
